Simon Doyle was born in Ireland. He moved to London at the age of 19 and returned to Ireland in 2018.
His first novel, Runaway Train, was released in July 2022, two weeks after he got married. Runaway Skies, book 2 in the Runaway Bay series, was released in February 2023, followed by the successful Snow Boys later that year.
His most recent novel, This is Not a Vampire Story, was released in January 2025.
He now live in the west of Ireland with his husband and an extremely neurotic border collie named Hollie.
